Useful Information On Rushden Sheds
Our popular Rushden range of sheds have been recently upgraded . They now include the following below as standard.
All the tongue and groove (t&g) Shiplap, Loglap or Matching boards are made from Redwood timber. All the Rushden sheds also come with corner edging for extra strengthening and protection.

Doors
All Sheds now feature a 30" (0.76mm) by 70" (1.76mm) door. This is fitted with a new fully framed door and black antique style metal handle along with a 3 lever lock built in to the door.
The door can be hinged left or right to suit your needs. You can also upgrade to a wider 36" (0.90m) shed door or a half glazed m&t (mortice lock) georgian door with galvanised handle and 5 lever lock.
(Excluding Potting Stable Shed doors and tool store doors).

Windows
All Rushden models now also have 3mm toughened (tempered) glass as standard on Sheds, Workshops and Summerhouses.
There are 4 choices of window styles as standard on sheds and all styles are the same price:-
Classic - large style glass with one opener included.
Georgian - Smaller fixed panes (opener is available as an upgrade).
Security - Short high level pillar box style fixed windows.
No Windows - Solid panel with no windows. (Shown on our Heavy Duty Barnwell Apex Workshop)
Roof
All buildings come with a 12mm finished t&g matching board roof fixed to minimum 47 x 47mm finished purlins.
Upgraded 1/2 glazed Georgian door with upgraded antique handle and hinges.
Felt
A heavy duty 38kg polyester based felt with a backing membrane is used as standard on all buildings.
Rushden Woodford with fixed standard Georgian windows and offset door if required.
Walls
All buildings now have a generous internal eaves height of 72" (1.82m) and have 12mm finished t&g shiplap boards fixed to 47mm x 47mm finished frame work. We also offer upgraded 15mm finished loglap or heavy duty shiplap if required.

Flooring
Most buildings will come with a wooden 12mm finished matching t&g wooden floor fixed to 47mm x 47mm pressure treated floor joists. All buildings over 8' in both directions (i.e 8'x8') most sheds over will be upgraded to Heavy Duty V313 18mm Caber Flooring.

Treatment
All Rushden sheds are treated both internally and externally with a base coat of spirit based preservative which helps protect the timber from fungi, woodworm and blue stain.
